Tea Tree Oil Remedies/Cure

- Tea Tree Oil is a good home remedy for oral infections. Few drops of tea tree oil in a cup of water makes a good antibacterial mouth rinse. A drop of tea tree oil around the gum line may help prevent or reverse gum problem.
- To eliminate athlete’s foot, you can use tea tree oil
as a topical application. Suggestion is 3 or more times a day applying pure tea tree oil to the infected area. - For a sore throat, three to six drops of pure tea tree oil added to warm water and used as a gargle can be highly beneficial.
- Cold sores can be treated by dabbing on pure tea tree oil 2 to 3 times a day as soon as the area begins to tingle… Tea tree oil has proven anti viral activity that can help reduce the severity of a cold sore as well as sooth and assist in healing.

- Boils can be treated by dabbing pure tea tree oil gently onto the affected area 2 – 3 times a day. Ongoing relief may also occur with regular use of a soap or cleanser containing tea tree oil.
- For minor burns flush with cold water or under a running tap or apply ice as soon as possible after the burn occurs. Apply pure tea tree oil directly onto the burnt area twice a day until healed.

- For head lice using a tea tree oil shampoo boosted with several drops of pure tea tree oil which should be left on the scalp for 5 – 10 minutes before rinsing off may eliminate the adult lice. This will need to be repeated twice a week for several weeks.
- Fleas and other insect infestations – Make a strong solution of tea tree oil and water. Using a spray bottle, spray the liquid onto carpets, floors and other areas where insects lay their eggs.

. - Bug Repellent: Bugs seem to dislike tea tree oil. The oil can be used to deter ants, roaches and other pests. Put a few drops of the oil where the pests are coming from. You can also wipe pantries and cupboards with a mixture of water and tea tree oil and this will make the bugs leave.
